* Application for the Resident/Fellow fee should be certified by a letter from the head of the department, stating that the applicant is an ophthalmology resident/fellow at the time of registration within 14 days from registration otherwise the regular fee will be applied. ** Accompanying person fee includes: Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and one half day city tour.

IMPORTANT: pre-registrations will be accepted until 15 January 2016. On site registrations will be possible from 18 February, starting from 7.30 till the end of the Congress.

Registration fees include

  • Access to Instructional Courses (not included in Exhibitors’ fees) and scientific sessions
  • Access to the technical exhibition
  • Congress kit including certificate of attendance (not included in Exhibitors’ fees) and name badge
  • Final programme and pen drive with abstracts
  • Working lunches and coffee breaks on 19 and 20 February
  • Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception
  • Congress Dinner (not included in Exhibitors’ fees and in Residents’ and Fellows’ fees)

Registration is mandatory for participation in the scientific sessions and for all oral, video and poster presenters.


Registration in the Instruction Courses is free of charge for participants registered in the Congress. Pre-registration is not required and attendance is possible while seats are available. Requests of participation will be accepted on the “first come first served” basis.

Agencies or companies in need for group reservations higher than 5 rooms follow a dedicated procedure by contacting the Organizing Secretariat OIC directly.

  • Group registrations are possible for companies or travel agencies wishing to register more than 5 delegates.
  • Registrations will not be accepted without work or home address and e-mail address of each delegate. The e-mail address of the sponsoring company will not be accepted.
  • It is not possible to register an accompanying person without a delegate.

How to make a Group Registration

In order to facilitate your group registration please download the “Group Registration Form” and the “Name list” and return all the documents duly filled in and signed, together with the proof of payment to the following E-mail: The name list must be sent as an attachment by e-mail only (no fax).

To benefit from the early registration fees, the payment with the signed group form must be received before 15 November 2015.

Registration fees will be confirmed and accepted without final name list until 18 December 2015 if paid in full, according to the published registration deadlines. After 18 December 2015 the complete name list must be sent together with the group form and the payment advice.

Collective pick-up (by a representative of your company/travel agency)

The opportunity of picking up your delegates' congress documents prior the official opening will be offered in order to facilitate the pre-registration procedure. We strongly suggest you to contact the OIC Srl Registration Department 3-4 weeks before the Congress and schedule an appointment accordingly.

If no appointment has been made only individual pick-up (by the delegate) will be possible at the pre-registration desk after the official opening of the Congress. 

However the group pick-up will be allowed only to companies/agencies who have sent the complete mandatory data for each participant.

Cancellation and reinbursements for individuals

The below policy is valid for individual bookings only. For groups’ reservations of more than 5 attendees, a different policy will be applied.
Any change or cancellation in connection with registration fees, hotel accommodations and social events must be sent in writing to O.I.C. s.r.l., Fax +39 055 5035230, E-mail:

For registrations and social event the paid fees will be refunded as follows:

  • For cancellations received by 18 January 2016, the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 70% that will be invoiced as penalty.
  • No refund will be made for cancellations received after 18 January 2016.

For hotel accommodations the paid amounts will be refunded as follows:

  • For cancellations received by 18 December 2015: the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 70% that will be invoiced as penalty.
  • From 19 December 2015: no refund will be made for cancellations or last minute changes.
  • No-shows: 100% of the foreseen total amount will be withheld as penalty charge.
  • All approved refunds will be processed and issued after the Congress.
